This lightsaber was wielded by the Human Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. It was constructed approximatly around 78 BBY and was used in many missions with Jinn's master, Dooku. The lightsaber saw action on many fronts, including New Apsolon, Bandomeer, Telos and Troiken. After his death, Obi-Wan Kenobi used it to kill Darth Maul. The weapon would become the temporay lightsaber of Kenobi until 28 BBY when he constructed a second lightsaber identical to his first.
